Bryona 5 – Piece Trestle Dining Set

The Table Stands On Curved Legs

Most dining tables have a straight leg at each corner. On this one the legs start from under the middle of the top and bend outward as they come down and a wooden bar joins them near the bottom. This gives the table a strong grip on the floor and it also keeps the corners free, so whoever sits at the end does not bump a knee on a leg.

The top is a plain rectangle in walnut brown with the wood lines showing on it. There is room for 4 plates, the dishes of dal and sabzi in the middle and a jug of water and still nothing feels crowded.

Every Chair Has A Soft Seat And A Padded Back

The chairs are walnut wood like the table. From behind, the back of the chair is a curved wooden panel and on the side you lean on, it is covered with grey fabric padding. The seat is padded in the same grey. In the close up photo the grey has a light purple tone to it, so it looks soft and not dull.

Under each seat, the 4 legs open out slightly and small wooden bars join them, so the chair does not wobble when you pull it back or sit down in a hurry.

Will It Fit In Your Dining Area?

Since the chairs have no armrests, they push fully under the table after the meal. That is useful in a flat where the dining area is also the walkway to the kitchen. A set like this works well in a small or medium dining space and if your walls are white, cream or light grey, the walnut and grey colors will match them nicely.
