Turquoise Southwest Pillow

The design on these pillows is not printed on top of the fabric. It is woven into the fabric with the threads, which is called jacquard weaving. Because the pattern is part of the threads, it does not peel, crack or fade off after washing or use. When you look closely in the photos, you can see the small woven texture of the threads in every color.

All 4 pillows have the same kind of design. In the center there is a big diamond made of smaller black diamonds and triangles. From the center diamond, 2 wide arrow bands go out, and around them there are long pointed shapes, like sharp teeth, coming in from the edges. The design is the same, but the colors make each pillow look very different.

• 1: Teal has a deep teal blue background. The center diamond is black with teal triangles between the smaller black diamonds. The 2 arrow bands are mustard yellow, and they go out to the left and right, with a cut at the end like the tail of an arrow. Black pointed shapes come down from the top and up from the bottom, and there are small mustard triangles near the corners. The fringe is a mix of teal, black and mustard threads. This is the brightest pillow in the set.
• 2: Slate Sunburst has a light grey background. Here the 2 mustard arrow bands go up and down, not left and right. The center diamond is black and grey, and long black pointed shapes come in from both sides. On the right edge there is a black stepped shape. The fringe is a mix of brown and grey. The grey and black with the mustard look clean and warm at the same time.
• 3: Charcoal has a cream and black design, with no yellow at all. The layout is the same as the Slate Sunburst pillow, with the arrow bands going up and down, but here the arrow bands are cream and the pointed shapes and center diamond are black. The fringe is black and cream. This is the simplest one, and it goes with almost any sofa.
• 4: Rust has a burnt orange background. The center diamond is in a darker maroon red, and the 2 arrow bands going left and right are deep teal. Darker orange pointed shapes come in from the top and bottom. The fringe is a dark maroon brown. This one gives the room a warm, earthy color.

The pillows are 18 x 18 inches, which is a normal size for a sofa, chair or bed. The cushion insert comes with the pillow, so it is ready to use as soon as it arrives. All 4 colors look nice together, and you can mix 2 or 3 of them on one sofa, like the Teal and Rust together, or the Slate Sunburst and Charcoal together.

• Like all woven jacquard fabric, small bobbles can come up if the pillow rubs a lot against rough fabric like denim or a thick throw. A lint roller takes them off easily
