Antique Gold Candle Holder
About the finish. We sell it as antique gold but anyone from a brass-using family will look at it and say pital. The colour runs from bright yellow on the cup rims where the hands touch it to a dark brown in the joints and no two come out the same. If you want it to shine like a new Moradabad piece you can take Brasso and a rag to it and it will come up bright in an hour. If you want it to look like it came out of a nani's house, leave it alone. I'd leave it alone.
Where it works. Dining table centre for Eid dinners and Diwali evenings, a sideboard in the drawing room, the console at the entrance if your entrance is wide. It also goes well on a floor in a corner beside a big plant, at 40 cm it has enough height to hold it's own down there. Not for a small flat where the dining table is also the study desk, it will annoy you within a week.
Wipe with a dry cloth. Brasso if you want shine, nothing if you want age. Scrape wax off with a wooden spatula, not a knife.

Celestial Candle Holder
Where it goes. Bedside, definitely. Puja shelf if you want a tealight there instead of an open diya, the base catches the wax. Bathroom window ledge, oddly, because the frosted glass suits a bathroom. Study desk. Not the dining table, it is too small, it gets lost among the plates.
Dry cloth only. Don't use Pitambari or any brass polish on it, that will strip the pewter finish and turn the sun's face shiny in patches. The stones are glued, so no soaking.

Gold Multi Tea Light Holder
Where it works. Centre of a dining table for a proper dinner, Eid, Diwali, a birthday where the phone lights are off. A console table in the entrance. A mantel if you have one. In a small flat it can look like too much, so keep the rest of the table plain, a white cloth and nothing else and it carries the room on it's own.
Use ivory or white candles. Coloured ones cheapen it. And don't let the candles burn right down into the cups, the heat is not good for the finish.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth only. Water will lift the foil at the edges.
