Albie Steel Cabinet Door Organizer

The cabinets under the sink are always the most crowded in the house. Bottles, scrubbers and cleaning cloths get pushed to the back, and you end up taking everything out just to find one thing. This basket hangs on the inside of the cabinet door, so the things you use every day are right in front of you as soon as you open it.

There is nothing to install. On the top are 2 flat hooks bent in a U shape. Open the cabinet door, slip the hooks over the top edge, and close the door again. The basket hangs on the inside of the door, and the hooks are thin enough for the door to shut normally. To move it to another cabinet, you just lift it off.

The basket is a long rectangle made of thin chrome wires running across. It has a thick rounded rim around the top and a wire grid on the bottom. Because it is open wire, water does not collect in it, so a wet sponge or a washed bottle dries quickly and the basket does not start to smell. The 2 hanging rods are joined to the back of the basket with small riveted plates, as you can see in the close photo, so the basket hangs firm and does not wobble.

At 11.5 inches long and 4 inches wide, it holds things like:

• dishwash liquid, a scrubber and a sponge
• rolls of foil, cling film and garbage bags
• shampoo, soap and a toothbrush holder in the bathroom
• spray bottles and brushes in the laundry area

Being stainless steel and chrome, it is easy to keep clean. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it, and it stays shiny.
